DESIGN
My inspiration comes from different keyboards that I like very much, such as the TGR Jane v2 which I love the rectangular and straight vibe of the board very much.
The whole design of Jian70 is rather simple and minimal. Without going for any specific type of feel, I want to make this board as neutral and simple as possible. And as a 70% board, which is my fav layout, there will be space at the front to make it a bit unique and special. So I added a badge and a very very very small piece of indicator light.
On the side, I went for a simple two line style without any curves to create a easy but sleek kinda vibe.
On the back, I would like to go with something both simple and unique. There comes a PVD weight shaped in a a few cuts and angles, and the middle part will be a cutout for the bottom case to show.
In the very middle is a logo I designed for this board. The idea is two diamond shapes that are cut being combined together symbolizes that this is the 2nd board I designed. And if you look at this at an angle, you can see the logo as the number "2".
The backweight will extend to the face of the USB-C port to make it seamless.
